Proud. Tearful. Happy. Sad. Thankful. These were just some of the emotions I was feeling throughout today. My sweet Samuel Jonas was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today. He was baptized and confirmed by his Grandpa Glen. The baptism and confirmation were beautiful. Sam received a very special blessing from his Grandpa and we knew Jonas was there with us and that he was so proud of Sam. I am having a hard time keeping my tears at bay....I am due to go have a BIG cry. I was very proud of Sam today. I love you buddy!
I was so grateful to have all of our family there to celebrate his special day. We love you all and are so thankful for you!

Yes there was a special feeling and spirit there. So funny how I tend to look around a room at times to see if I can see Jonas. I truly envy people that have this gift. But I did get the privilege of having a dream with Jonas in it that evening. I always love those dreams which are far and few... I think this was my 3rd or 4th. Sam, Grandpa and I are very proud of you and love you so much! And do know Sam that you have an incredible and amazing Mom & Dad!
It was a very wonderful and special day. Sam is such a tender heart like his dad. We were all missing Joe so much but we could feel him there to be with Sam on his special day. He will always be with you. We love you Sam and are so proud of you for following Jesus.
